When using our Carbon Steel I-Beam to construct a bridge, special attention must be paid to high load bearing strength. More carbon is added to our Carbon Steel Chain for increased hardness and strength. This Carbon Steel C-Channel is essentially non-magnetic and less brittle at low temperatures due to its crystal structure. Electro-polishing or passivation of this CS Angle can improve corrosion resistance. When this is paired with exposure to saltwater and other corrosives, as is frequently the case, Carbon Steel H-Beam becomes the material of choice. Our Carbon Steel T-Beam with low sulphur levels can be supplied by companies utilising ladle-refining procedures for applications needing maximum ductility.

Products are packaged to ensure that there is no damage during transit. In case of exports, standard export packaging is done in wooden cases. All elbow fittings are marked with Grade, Lot No, Size, Degree and our trade mark. On special requests we can also, make custom marking on our products.
At Bu-LOK , all fittings and flanges are subject to strict inspection at each stage of the production process, from starting material purchasing to product dispatch. They are visually examined for conformity to ASTM, ASME, MSS, DIN, EN, and JIS codes and standards. Upon request, official certified Inspection Agencies can be called in to witness the material reports, dimensions and quality conformity of products.
